TENCAN Vibration Ball Mill Series
TENCAN Vibration Ball Mill Series is designed for high-frequency impact grinding, rapid powder preparation, dry and wet milling, and laboratory sample processing. Compared with ordinary drum ball mills, a vibration ball mill uses high-frequency small-amplitude vibration to drive grinding media and materials inside the grinding cylinder. The grinding media continuously impacts, rubs and shears the material, helping samples reach fine particle size in a shorter time.
This series includes laboratory vibration ball mills, light-duty vibration ball mills, heavy-duty vibration ball mills and sample grinder machines. It is widely used in electronics, ceramics, chemicals, powder metallurgy, tungsten materials, calcium carbide, rubber compounds, magnetic materials, radio-frequency ceramic materials, pharmaceuticals, mining, metallurgy, refractory materials, glass, graphite and laboratory analysis.
Why Choose TENCAN Vibration Ball Mills?
TENCAN vibration ball mills are suitable for users who need faster grinding speed, high media filling ratio and efficient sample preparation. The grinding cylinder can hold more grinding media than many conventional mills, which increases the contact frequency between media and materials. This helps improve grinding efficiency and processing capacity.
The equipment has a simple structure and is easy to operate, clean and maintain. By adjusting vibration amplitude, vibration frequency, grinding media, filling ratio and milling time, users can prepare powders with different particle size requirements. It supports both dry and wet grinding, making it suitable for powders, particles, minerals, ceramics, chemical materials and other laboratory or production materials.
For materials that require temperature control, a jacketed grinding cylinder can be selected. For continuous operation, vibration mills can also be configured with screening and collection devices. Different lining materials can be selected according to contamination control and wear resistance requirements, including stainless steel, alumina ceramic, zirconia, nylon, PTFE, food-grade rubber and polyurethane.
Different Models for Different Applications
The laboratory vibration ball mill is suitable for small-batch testing, teaching, R&D and fast sample preparation. It can be made in single-cylinder, double-cylinder or three-cylinder structures. It is compact, reliable and convenient for laboratories that need rapid fine grinding or repeated sample testing.
The light-duty vibration ball mill is suitable for laboratory and small-scale production use. It keeps the advantages of high grinding efficiency, compact structure, low weight and convenient operation. It is often selected for electronic materials, ceramic powders, magnetic materials, chemical powders and pharmaceutical sample processing.
The heavy-duty vibration ball mill is designed for larger capacity and production-oriented powder grinding. It is suitable for metallurgy, building materials, mining, refractory materials, chemicals, glass, ceramics and graphite industries. Its high-frequency cylinder vibration allows grinding media to impact materials strongly, producing concentrated particle size distribution and efficient powder preparation. It can support dry or wet grinding, open or closed circuit processes, depending on production requirements.
The sample grinder machine is mainly used for preparing powder samples for laboratory analysis. Materials are placed in a sealed bowl with a crushing ring and crushing hammer. Through vibration, impact and friction, the machine can quickly prepare mineral or coal samples into fine powder for testing. It is suitable for coal, coke, gangue, ores and other hard non-metallic mineral materials.
Key Application Fields
TENCAN vibration ball mills are widely used in electronic ceramics, powder metallurgy, chemical materials, magnetic materials, mineral analysis, coal testing, refractory materials, graphite, glass, ceramics, pharmaceutical powders and research laboratories.
In laboratories, vibration ball mills are useful for fast sample preparation before chemical analysis, particle size testing or material comparison. In mineral and coal testing, sample grinders help prepare uniform powder samples for laboratory analysis. In ceramic and electronic material fields, vibration grinding helps process powders that need fine particle size and uniform distribution. In production-oriented powder processing, heavy-duty vibration mills are suitable for larger batch fine grinding.
Difference from Planetary Ball Mills and Drum Ball Mills
A vibration ball mill is different from a planetary ball mill. Planetary ball mills use revolution and self-rotation to generate high-energy impact, which is suitable for nano powder preparation, high-energy milling and multi-sample research. Vibration ball mills use high-frequency vibration to create repeated impact and friction, making them suitable for rapid grinding, sample preparation and efficient fine powder processing.
Compared with drum ball mills, vibration ball mills provide stronger media movement and faster grinding efficiency in a compact structure. Drum ball mills are better for gentle rolling grinding, long-time mixing and larger batch wet grinding, while vibration ball mills are better for quick powder preparation, high media filling ratio and materials that require strong impact grinding.
Customization and Selection Support
Selecting the right vibration ball mill depends on material type, feed size, target particle size, batch capacity, dry or wet process, lining requirement and production mode. TENCAN can provide laboratory models, light-duty models, heavy-duty models and sample grinder machines according to different grinding needs.
Customization options may include grinding cylinder volume, cylinder quantity, lining material, grinding media material, vibration amplitude, frequency configuration, jacketed temperature control, screening and collection device, sealed sample bowl and electric timing control. Whether the requirement is laboratory sample preparation, ceramic powder grinding, mineral testing, pharmaceutical powder processing or production-scale fine milling, TENCAN Vibration Ball Mill Series can provide a practical and efficient grinding solution.
